Our company was founded by Bill Baesemann who has drawn from over 35 years of home building experience to create this truly unique organization that specializes in creating exclusive custom homes. Bill founded Kings Way Homes back in 1972 and Kettle Creek Homes a few years later. This family of companies has an impeccable reputation for quality and has won more Parade of Homes design awards from the Metropolitan Builders Association than any other builder.

Even though Chapel Hill builds only a few select homes each year, it is able to draw from the knowledge and experience obtained from building thousands of homes over 3 decades. Our use of state-of-the-art construction techniques and reliable products, that have been tested in actual homes in our area for 10, 20 and 30 years, is invaluable. This wealth of experience and a strong financial base makes our custom home building company extraordinary.

At Chapel Hill we recognize that good, solid homes start with good, solid construction. Outstanding homes, however, start with outstanding design. Chapel Hill’s designer, Vac Homolka, has created some of the most stunning home designs in our area. But don’t take our word for it, the magnificent photos in the Custom Home Gallery do all the talking. Vac possesses the uncanny ability to extract a person’s personality and infuse it into a home design.

Construction of every Chapel Hill home is painstakingly managed by David Shedivy, who has dedicated the last 25 years of his career to building one thing, single-family homes. Outstanding customer service is not a business concept to David; it’s a way of life.
